Exploitation Permit (PE) 15180: Strengthening the Gold Presence in Mwenga

Exploitation Permit, PE 15180 also located in Mwenga Territory, South Kivu, covers 6 squares and is exclusively dedicated to gold exploitation. This permit strengthens INTERLACS’s presence in the South Kivu gold belt, strategically complementing our other titles in the region.

Administrative and Historical Background: Unlike the previous permits, this one was granted directly as an Exploitation Permit by Ministerial Decree No. 00480/CAB.MIN/MINES/01/2024 of December 3, 2024, with an effective issuance date of February 17, 2025.

It was preceded by a Research Permit granted on June 29, 2022, valid until June 28, 2027, pursuant to Ministerial Decree No. 00138/CAB.MIN/MINES/01/2022 of April 26, 2022.

  • Cadastral Details and Mapping: The PE 15180 documents below  includes an extract of the mining cadastre map and the list of geographic coordinates for Title 15180.
  • The map illustrates the configuration of the 6 squares in Mwenga and their position relative to neighboring permits, notably PE 15179 (which is adjacent and partially surrounded by 15180), as well as permits 15184, 14559, and 16117 .
  • The 8 perimeter points are precisely defined according to the WGS84 system. For example, Corner 1 is located at Longitude 28° 03′ 30” E and Latitude -03° 16′ 00” S.

Synergies and Efficiency: The concentration of several gold exploitation permits within the same Mwenga region (PE 15179, PE 15180, PE 15182, PE 15183) enables INTERLACS to maximize operational synergies, optimize logistics, and strengthen efficiency in achieving results, while ensuring a sustainable and responsible use of available resources.
