Research Permit (PR) 15833 and Expansion Projects: Strategic Diversification Beyond Kivu

Beyond its consolidated operations in South Kivu, INTERLACS is actively engaged in expanding and diversifying its mining portfolio. Research Permit, PR 15833 located in Lubao, Lomami Province, is a key example. Covering 60 squares, this permit shows geological potential for a variety of strategic substances, including silver, cobalt, copper, diamond, tin, gold, and platinum.

Portfolio Expansion and Strategic Objectives: This initiative aligns with INTERLACS’s major objectives: completing the exploration phase to convert research permits into exploitation permits, and expanding our portfolio by integrating and developing other mining production streams such as coal, lithium, copper, and cobalt. The exploration phase of PR 15833 is crucial for its future conversion into an exploitation permit. INTERLACS is also extending its activities into Lomami and Haut-Katanga Provinces in order to enter the value chain of diamond, silver, cobalt, and copper.

New Research Permit Applications in Haut-Katanga: In this expansion dynamic, INTERLACS has formally submitted applications for two additional research permits in Haut-Katanga Province:

  • PR 16285, located in Katete-Kasenga, covering 10 squares.

  • PR 16284, located in Lubemba-Kasenga, covering 8 squares.

These initiatives in Haut-Katanga and Lomami illustrate INTERLACS’s determination to actively expand its footprint and impact on the Congolese mining sector, targeting high-value minerals for global markets.

Collaboration Opportunities: These research permits and future applications represent outstanding opportunities for strategic partnerships. INTERLACS is open to collaborations through subleasing, transfers, or joint ventures with partners possessing the technical and financial capacity to lead ambitious mining projects. Such partnerships are envisioned in alignment with our core values of integrity and professionalism.
